In this course, students will learn the basics of hand building to create a variety of functional forms using various techniques ranging from slab building, coiling, pinching, and slump molding. Students will learn how to make cups, boxes, and shallow bowls/plates. Up to 5 pieces of work are included in this class - additional pieces may be purchased at 6¢ cubic inch. 20lbs of clay is included in the class, and additional clay may be purchased for $5 per 10lb bag. All tools are provided, as well as aprons! Prerequisite: None! Beginners welcome.
Cancellation Policy
Classes/workshops are 100% refundable up to 2 weeks before the start date. Classes/workshops are 50% refundable up to 1 week before the start date. After that, it is non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel a class/workshop due to low enrollment or for other necessary reasons.
