6 Week Wheel Throwing - Intermediate

This course is only available to those who have taken a foundational wheel throwing course with our studio, or who have completed a foundational wheel course at another studio. Students who have a grasp on the basics of wheel throwing (centering, pulling straight walls, etc..) will be taught more advanced techniques such as collaring, creating hollow forms, making two part lidded forms, and throwing larger forms. Up to 5 pieces of work are included in this class - additional pieces are 6¢ cubic inch. Clay is included in the class, and additional clay may be purchased for $5 per 10lb bag. All tools are provided, as well as aprons! Prerequisite: Student has taken a foundational course with our studio or elsewhere. Must be able to throw a straight walled cylinder at 6" tall or more. Must be able to center 2lbs of clay or more. Up to 5 pieces of work are included in this class - additional pieces are 6¢ cubic inch. Clay is included in the class, and additional clay may be purchased for $5 per 10lb bag. All tools are provided, as well as aprons! Prerequisite: Student has taken a foundational course with our studio or elsewhere. Must be able to throw a straight walled cylinder at 6" tall or more. Must be able to comfortably center 2lbs of clay or more.
Cancellation Policy
Classes/workshops are 100% refundable up to 2 weeks before the start date. Classes/workshops are 50% refundable up to 1 week before the start date. After that, it is non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel a class/workshop due to low enrollment or for other necessary reasons.
